Post and pier (also known as post and beam or pier and beam) is a form of traditional foundation construction, found in many older homes. We wanted a theme that spoke of the value of a strong foundation, in life and in real estate investments. After a brief brainstorming session, the name "Pier & Post" came to life.
The goal of Pier & Post is to provide strong, foundational values in client relationships, business services and transactions. We want our agents and team members to represent ethics, integrity and dependability in working relationships. Our goal is to provide clients a positive experience in renting, redesigning, selling, or hiring us to find their new home or investment property.
Christine Dickinson began her real estate career in the late '90s when she joined Steven Larson, a top-producing real estate broker-associate with RE/MAX, as a long-distance transaction coordinator. In 2007, Westside Real Estate Services was founded and Christine and Steven left RE/MAX to further develop Westside as an independent sales brokerage, with an average sales volume in excess of $20M, and the "sister" brokerage, Westside Property Management Company, based in Silicon Valley, managing over 230 doors.
Christine obtained her broker's license in 2015, and founded Pier & Post with the goal of providing real estate support services to agents and homeowners, as well as expanding the property management and real estate business to include areas outside the Bay Area.
Christine enjoys helping first-time buyers, fellow equestrians looking for horse property and working with the administrative aspects of the real estate and property management business. She has participated in closing over 350 real estate transactions and over 1000 leases.
Syd enjoys semi-retirement from his 31-year career in sales and customer service at Ford Motor Company, now assisting as a rental property shower and applying his home repair skills as a part-time handyman in the Bay Area.
Brent's IT skills support our expanding staff to allow seamless communications, scheduling and file sharing among agents and multiple offices. He also assists part-time as a handyman.
Certified Home Stager
As a Certified Home Stager (2009), Laura Washburn has a passion to assist homeowners and agents prepare properties for sale by offering a wide variety of staging and consulting services. Laura is a Bay Area native who relocated to the Central Valley. She holds an Associates Degree in Visual Space Design (San Francisco, 1997). She has extensive experience in property management, coordinating turnovers, managing remodel projects and consulting with owners on materials and design. Her service area includes the Bay Area, East Bay, Central Valley, Sacramento, and surrounding areas. Laura is also a member of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association).

Debbie has career experience in the administrative side of the loan and mortgage industry and as a model home shower. She assists with bookkeeping and serves as a rental property shower in Sacramento and Roseville communities.
Eric assists with maintenance, repairs and turnovers as a part-time handyman in the Auburn area.
